With an aim to imbibe a sense of discipline in the students, the school provides NCC training. School is affiliated to 1 J&k Arty Bty NCC. Poonch 37 cadets have been awarded 'A' certificate and 50 students attended NCC camp at Sunderbani in the month of june last year.

The school boasts of having the only state of art computer museum in Poonch district. The aim of the museum is to highlight the journey of computers through generations and how hardware and technology has changed with time.

The school has a fully equipped computer lab and qualified staff. The aim of the computer lab is to impart practical knowledge of computers to all students. 

The school conducts various cultural and extra curriculum activities. The school auditorium with a seating capacity of 250 persons and audio/video systems, makes it an ideal choice for any such event conducted by the school.
